Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi the first Pakistani Tennis Player reached the US open Grand Slam in Men’s Double and The Mixed Doubles categories, is getting engaged to Faha Makhdoom. Aisam is no doubt the heart throb thousands of Pakistani girls. He has also appeared in Television commercials – Clear Shampoo and Close Up toothpaste.

Faha Makhdum is a resident of Ipswich, Suffolk. She is a graduate in (BSc Hons) Psychology – Uni of Essex: Greenstead House Halls and is an MSc Therapeutic Counselling and BACP accredited. She has worked for the Pakistani High Commissioner in England, and is working towards being a qualified integrative counsellor and was practising as a trainee counsellor for Stepping Stones East in 2010. She has experience working with a variety of clients and client issues. The engagement will take place in the month of July 2011, the family and closed relatives only will be attending this event, in Lahore, Pakistan.

Annie Khalid, The First Pakistani Celebrity In Look UK. This month has proved to be quite lucky for our pop star Annie Khalid. Soon after the launch of her own restaurant, the AK Lounge, Annie got featured in UK’s very prestigious high-end fashion and celebrity magazine called LOOK.

LOOK, which was launched in February 2007 by IPC Media in UK is a weekly magazine that focuses on high street fashion, beauty and celebrity news.

The area is aptly called a paradise for mountaineers, adventure seekers and nature lovers. The compelling charm of these high, challenging , end less sea of rugged rock and ice pinnacles lure large number of climbers, trekkers, adventure seekers and nature lovers from all over the world to the Northern Areas of Pakistan, each year.

I think the name of the show Utho Jago Pakistan should be changed to Utho Jago Shaista Wahidi as she is the one who needs to be wake up from her childish attitude.

Shiasta Wahidi is a sensible and beautiful host, but don’t you think sometimes she acts so childish! And the same thing made her trip and fall live in front of whole world on the sets of her very own show.

In the recent live episode of Utho Jago Pakistan, Shaista Wahidi invited Meera and her 13 husband-to-be-candidates of Kon Banega Meera Patti. The show was followed by a rather messy and unorganized end, when everyone including the host and the-bride-to-be Meera started dancing.
The scene almost resembled a 13-year-old birthday party, which ended on the fall of the host, Shiasta Wahidi. I think they should practice dance steps before doing them live on TV!

Bol by Shoaib Mansoor Release Date Still Undecided

The releasing date of much awaited Urdu feature film by Shoaib Mansoor, “Bol” have been shifted third time leaving viewers and management bewildered.

Starring Atif Aslam for the first time along with Iman Ali and Mahira Khan, Pakistani film “Bol” is still ambiguous to be released exactly on which date. The film was supposed to release on June 24, 2011 worldwide, then the date was proponed to June 17, 2011 and now according to film management the date is still undecided.

Music of “Bol” has already been released in Pakistan. Indian film promotion / distribution company, Eros Entertainment will release it worldwide whereas Geo Films will release the movie in Pakistan.

Lollywood star Saud and his wife Javeria had a fun blast on their birthday at Gangaroo Hall FunAsia, Dallas.

The much awaited release of Juggan Kazim’s debut Pakistani film “Khamossh Raho” resulted in chaos and despondency of viewers as the role Juggan Kazim played in movie could not make any impact.

At the premiere of her first Pakistani movie “Khamossh Raho”, Juggan Kazim did not receive the response she was thought of. Many of her invited friends were also not there to support her.
